Published prices
The price is on the open web before it is on your screen.
These come out of the same table the app prices from, right now. A typical journey across Kansas City, in each of the four cars.
The fare depends on the two zones the journey runs between, so a shorter trip costs less and a longer one more. Every fare is quoted in full before you book, with the platform fee and the insurance on their own lines.
What makes up a fare
Every line, and who each one is for.

The total is the sum of these, quoted in full before you confirm and unchanged afterwards. There is no surge multiplier anywhere in the system, because a fare booked days ahead has nothing to surge against.
Membership
One axis, and it is not a discount.
Every tier removes the platform fee completely. What changes between them is how many rides a month you can schedule ahead, because scheduling is the thing that costs us something to guarantee.
What it costs
One price for the board. Nothing off the fare.

Charged for a day you choose to work, not for a month you might. A driver who takes a week off pays nothing that week, which is the difference between a subscription and a retainer.
Compare it against a commission: at twenty percent, a driver taking three hundred dollars of fares in a day hands over sixty of them. Here the fares are yours and the board is the only thing you pay for.
